Developing true Autonomous applications within the Maritime Surface Environment presents a more practical, lower impact proposition than that of Certifying a Platform for Land or the Air environment.

Certification for 'Autonomous' Air or Maritime platforms within UK air space and coastal water is possible. Solutions are modelled and are available to be used towards presenting a creditable safety argument.
